Accessibility Statement

1. Introduction

At MLC-direct, we strive to make our online shop www.daytox.de accessible without barriers. This accessibility statement applies to the website mentioned above.

We base our efforts on the Accessibility Enhancement Act (BFSG) and the ordinance on the Accessibility Enhancement Act (BFSGV). Additionally, we consider the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 in accordance with the European standard EN 301 549.

2. Accessibility Measures and Tools

To improve accessibility, we take measures and use the following tools:

Regular reviews: Tests to identify and appropriately address accessibility issues are conducted annually. We use software solutions from Deque for verification.

Visual impairments: Support is provided for people with poor vision through contrast adjustments, font changes, and color adaptations of texts.

Screen reading: Offers the option to have texts read aloud by screen reader options of the browser or operating system used. For users who have difficulty reading online texts, the website has been modified to be compatible with screen readers. The screen reader option must be activated by the visitor’s browser or operating system.

Prevention for seizure-prone users: Animations are disabled and risky color combinations are reduced.

Concentration difficulties: Distractions are minimized and a clear focus is set.

Keyboard control: The website can be used with a keyboard.

Contrasts: We aim to make design elements more readable through adapted color and contrast choices.

3. Accessibility Status and Known Barriers

This website is currently not fully accessible. Continuous measures are being taken to further improve accessibility.

Despite our efforts, some content may not be fully accessible. This particularly concerns:

PDF documents: Converting existing PDF documents to accessible formats requires significant technical and personnel resources. All newly created PDF documents will be accessible.

We work with some third-party providers whose products we unfortunately cannot always make fully accessible.
